Working conditions
The Cotenele GGD Low Voltage Switchgear LV Panel is suitable for the following operating environments:
1. The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C or fall below -5°C, and the average temperature over any 24-hour period shall not be higher than +35°C.
2. Atmospheric conditions: The air must be clean. Relative humidity shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, for example 90% at +20°C, provided that due consideration is given to the possible occasional formation of condensation resulting from temperature variations.
3. The altitude shall not exceed 2000 metres above sea level.
4. This unit is suitable for transport and storage within a temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, and may be exposed to temperatures as high as +70°C for short periods (not exceeding 24 hours). Under such extreme temperatures, the unit shall not suffer any irreversible damage and shall be capable of normal operation under standard conditions.
5. If the above operating conditions cannot be met, the matter shall be resolved through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer.
6. When this unit is to be used on offshore oil drilling and production platforms or in nuclear power plants, a separate technical agreement shall be concluded.
What are the structural characteristics of the GGD low-voltage switchgear?
1. Overall Cabinet Structure
The GGD low-voltage AC distribution cabinet adopts a universal cabinet design. Its frame is assembled from 8MF cold-formed steel through partial welding. To ensure the precision and quality of the cabinet, all structural parts and dedicated auxiliary components are supplied by designated manufacturers of shaped steel. The panel's components adopt modular design and feature 20‑module mounting holes, this offers high versatility.This allows the factory to carry out pre‑production, significantly shortening the manufacturing cycle and improving work efficiency.
2. Heat Dissipation Design
In terms of heat dissipation, the GGD low-volatage switchgear makes full use of natural ventilation. Cool air continuously enters from the slots at the bottom of the cabinet and rises naturally within the relatively sealed enclosure, forming an unobstructed ventilation path, which can effectively removes heat from inside the low-voltage panel no need for additional power, this will achieve efficient cooling.
3. Aesthetic and Exterior Design
From the perspective of exterior styling, the GGD cabinet follows the requirements of modern industrial product design. The golden ratio method is used to determine the overall cabinet dimensions and the division of its various sections. As a result, the entire switchgear is well‑proportioned, attractive, and refreshing in appearance.
4. Cabinet Door and Hinges
The cabinet door is connected to the frame by means of pivot‑type movable hinges, making installation and removal very convenient. A mountain‑shaped rubber sealing strip is embedded along the folded edge of the door. When the door is closed, the sealing strip undergoes a certain amount of compression, which not only prevents direct impact between the door and the cabinet but also effectively improves the door's protection rating.
5. Grounding Protection System
For grounding protection, the instrument door containing electrical components is reliably connected to the frame using stranded copper wires. At the same time, all internal mounting parts are connected to the frame via knurled screws. In this way, the entire cabinet forms a complete and continuous grounding protection system, ensuring the safety of operating and maintenance personnel.
6. Surface Coating
The cabinet surface is finished with a polyester orange‑textured baking paint. This coating provides strong adhesion and good texture, while giving the entire cabinet a soft matte tone that effectively avoids glare. This not only enhances the product's appearance but also creates a more comfortable visual environment for the attendant on duty.
7. Top Cover and Lifting Rings
There are four lifting rings at the four corners of the GGD panel top, These lifting rings ia used for hoisting and transport, facilitating handling and positioning of the equipment.The top cover of the panel is removable, this design is allowing the user to detach it for convenient assembly and adjustment of the main busbars on site when necessary.
8. Protection Rating
The standard protection grade of the GGD low-voltage panel is IP30, which meets the requirements of most indoor environments.If the user's operating environment requires higher or different levels of protection, they can choose other levels of protection from IP20 to IP40 to adapt to various working conditions.

Selection & Precautions
Choosing the correct GGD Low Voltage Switchgear LV Panel is critical for system safety:
Match core parameters: First, select the appropriate model such as GGD1, GGD2, GGD3, based on actual load current and short-circuit current . we advice to allow a 20% margin for current.
Installation & heat dissipation: For high-current applications for example more than 3200a, consider increasing panel depth, for example the top outgoing cabinets may require 1200mm depth. Maintain a minimum of 800mm clearance in front of and behind the low-voltage panel for maintenance access.
Environmental adaptability: For high temperature, high humidity, or dusty environments, choose a model with a higher protection class for example IP40.
Functionality & expansion: Confirm the requirement for data transmission for example power monitoring, and allow enough space for requirement of future expansion.
