GCK series drawer low-voltage switchgear is also one of Cotenele's main products,The GCK Low Voltage Switchboard Withdrawable consists of two parts: the power distribution center (PC) cabinet and the motor control center (MCC). It is suitable for power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises and other power users as an AC 50Hz maximum working voltage up to 660V and maximum working current up to 3150A in the distribution system. It is used for power distribution, motor control, lighting and other distribution equipment for energy conversion and distribution control.
The GCK Low Voltage Switchboard Withdrawable panel manufactured by Cotenele is a domestic low-voltage withdrawable switchgear widely used for power distribution and motor control in power plants, industrial enterprises, and high-rise buildings.
This low-voltage switchgear adopts a modular design with separate compartments for busbars, functional units, and cables, which enhances operational safety. Each drawer unit provides three positions — "connected", "test", and "disconnected" — allowing circuit maintenance without de-energizing the main busbar.
The GCK Low Voltage Switchboard Withdrawable has a rated insulation voltage of up to 660V, a horizontal busbar rated current of up to 4000A, and strong short-time withstand capability. Compared with GCS or MNS types, the GCK offers a more compact structure and lower cost, making it ideal for cost-sensitive applications.
Routine maintenance includes cleaning the equipment, checking for overheating at cable connections, and inspecting wear on plug-in units to ensure long-term stable operation.

Operating environments
1. The altitude shall not exceed 2000 m above sea level.
2. The ambient air temperature shall not be higher than +40 °C, with a 24‑hour average temperature not exceeding +35 °C, and shall not be lower than –50 °C.
3. Atmospheric requirements: The air must be clean. Relative humidity shall not exceed 50 % at a temperature of +40 °C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures – for example, 90 % at +20 °C.
4. The equipment must be installed in locations free from fire, explosion hazards, severe pollution, chemical corrosion, or intense vibration.
5. The permissible inclination relative to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5°.
6. This product is suitable for transport and storage at temperatures ranging from –25 °C to +55 °C, and for short periods (not exceeding 24 h) up to +70 °C.
If the above conditions cannot be met, the user shall inform the manufacturer at the time of ordering so that a mutual agreement can be reached.
Product Structures
1. Basic Framework
The GCK Low Voltage Switchboard Withdrawable adopts a modular bolted connection structure. All frame components are connected by screws to form the basic frame. Then, doors, panels, partitions, drawers, mounting brackets, busbars, and electrical components are added sequentially to complete the assembly.
2. Frame Characteristics
The frame uses section steel assembled with three‑dimensional angle brackets. All connections are bolted (no welding), which eliminates welding deformation and residual stress, thereby improving mounting accuracy. Mounting holes on the frame and parts follow a 20 mm modular grid (E = 20 mm).
3. Surface Treatment
Internal structural parts are zinc‑plated. External parts are pickled, phosphated, and then coated with electrostatic epoxy powder.
4. Power Center (PC) – Incoming Unit
(1) Top section: horizontal busbar compartment.
(2) Below it: circuit breaker compartment.
(3) Breakers can be domestic types (e.g., DW15C, ME series) or imported types (e.g., ABB F‑series, including intelligent breakers).
(4) For a PC incoming unit with a rear‑mounted main circuit (including bus coupler):
630 A – 1600 A → cabinet size: 800 (W) × 1000 (D) × 2200 (H) mm.
Without rear‑mounted circuit: 800 × 800 × 2200 mm.
(5) For 1600 A – 3150 A:
With rear‑mounted circuit: 1000 × 1000 × 2200 mm.
Without rear‑mounted circuit: 1000 × 800 × 2200 mm.
5. Power Center (PC) – Feeder Unit
Similar construction to the incoming unit. For feeder currents of 630 A – 1600 A, one cabinet (1000 × 1000 × 2200 mm) accommodates two vertically arranged circuits.
6. Motor Control Center (MCC) – Two Mounting Options
Wall‑mounted (rear accessible from front only):
Top: horizontal busbars. Below: drawer functional unit area (width 600 mm, height 1840 mm). Left side – drawer units; right side – 200 mm wide cable exit area. Cabinet size: 800 (W) × 500 (D) × 2200 (H) mm.
Free‑standing (accessible from both sides):
Cabinet width 600 mm; cable exit area at the rear. Cabinet size: 600 (W) × 800 or 1000 (D) × 2200 (H) mm. A depth of 1000 mm is recommended to match PC cabinets.
When a drawer is pulled out, no live parts remain exposed, ensuring safety.
7. Drawer Interlocking and Interchangeability
The drawer unit and its door are mechanically interlocked via the main switch operating mechanism. When the main switch is closed, the door cannot be opened. The mechanism can be padlocked in the closed or open position.
Compartments are separated by metal partitions. Drawers are fully interchangeable.
Three positions: connected, test, and disconnected. The drawer automatically latches at each position; pulling the left‑side plate releases the latch to move to the next position. An anti‑drop feature prevents the drawer from falling when fully withdrawn.
