Working conditions
1. Ambient air temperature: maximum +40 °C, minimum –15 °C.
2. Relative humidity: daily average ≤95 % with a corresponding daily average water vapour pressure not exceeding 2.2 KPa; monthly average ≤90 % with a corresponding monthly average water vapour pressure not exceeding 1.8 KPa.
3. Altitude: not exceeding 1000 m above sea level.
4. Seismic intensity: not greater than Magnitude 8.
5. The surrounding air shall be free from significant contamination by corrosive or combustible gases, water vapour, or similar agents.
6. The installation site shall be free from severe vibration.
7. If the operating conditions exceed the normal limits specified in GB3906, the user and our company shall mutually agree on the necessary provisions through consultation.
What Is Drawout Metal-Enclosed Switchgear？
The KYN28-12 11KV Indoor Metal Clad Medium Voltage Switchgear is a electrical device which circuit breaker truck is installed in the middle compartment of the switchgear. The entire enclosure is divided into four independent compartments by metal partitions:
1. Breaker Compartment (middle):Houses the vacuum circuit breaker truck (e.g., VS1 or VD4). The truck has three positions: Service, Test/Isolation, and Removed. It can be easily racked in/out, allowing convenient maintenance-Replacing the breaker does not require de-energizing the whole panel.
2. Busbar Compartment:Located at the upper rear part. Contains main busbars and branch busbars that connect multiple switchgear panels.
3. Cable Compartment:Located at the lower rear part. Used for connecting outgoing cables, surge arresters, and earthing switches.
4. Low-voltage (Instrument) Compartment: Located at the front upper part. Houses protection relays (microcomputer-based), instruments, indicator lights, and other secondary components.
Observation windows: Each compartment is fully separated by earthed metal partitions, effectively preventing an internal arc fault in one compartment from affecting adjacent compartments. The front panel has observation windows to view the truck position and isolation contact status.
